Food Bank

nazfood

St. James Church provides a food bank for anyone in need. We are open on the second and fourth Sundays of each month from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Our volunteers help to stock, organize, maintain, and distribute food. The food bank is accessed via the south courtyard doors.

Emergency food assistance is usually available upon request. Please contact the church office at (801) 566-1311 if you have an urgent need for food. A Blessing Box on the north entry road is available for people to leave what they can and take what they need.

You are welcome to volunteer for restocking our food bank. We restock the second and fourth Saturdays of the month (unless otherwise noted) from about noon to 2. We can always use the help! All ages welcome for restocking. To volunteer on distribution day, you must be age 15 and up. We really appreciate ALL our volunteers!!!
